DATA TEAM

The data team at Audigent maintains the hub of our data intake infrastructure and data lake, provides utilities, and sets optimal practices for our entire firm concerning the maintenance and utilization of our data lake.

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

Audigent is seeking a collaborative, inquisitive, and instrumental software engineer to aid in enhancing the data infrastructure and delivery procedures of our SmartPMP platform and central data team. We expect you to be proficient in at least one programming language (ideally, Python), be familiar with data structures, software development techniques, and data modelling.

You will play a crucial role in our team, cooperating closely with expert engineers in the Data Team and engineers from various other teams. Your duties will range from maintaining the existing codebase to contributing to new bespoke products and features.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Maintain operations of a functioning, profitable adtech stack
  • Establish automation, optimization, and analysis processes throughout our organization
  • Cooperate with principal and senior engineers
  • Test, debug, and deliver functional solutions
  • Utilize suitable technology to access external data sources
  • Generate, document, and sustain complex data pipelines
  • Prepare data for storage, analytics, ML
  • Perform data integration, transformation, and optimization
  • Develop optimized, data-centric APIs

IDEAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in: Python, SQL, Pandas, AWS, Athena (Presto) or similar
  • Experience with big data (Hadoop, Spark, Kinesis or similar) and data pipeline technologies like Airflow or AWS Glue
  • Experience with microservices, rest API and the like
  • Capability to collaborate on projects and work independently when needed
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Track record of delivering functional end-to-end solutions
  • Must be a dedicated worker who desires to make a real impact and is at ease in a rapidly paced start-up environment
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly when discussing technical concepts

BONUS POINTS FOR

  • Experience in delivering production data within AdTech
  • Demonstrable understanding of the adtech ecosystem and/or data flows within AdTech, specifically including DMPs, SSPs, DSPs, digital campaign metrics, 1st & 3rd Party Identity, and non-cookie-based identity systems
  • Experience with Django or Flask
  • Experience with a current compiled language (Rust, Go, etc…)
  • DevOps (Docker, Terraform) experience
  • Experience with additional cloud providers (GCP, Azure)
