Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our team to plan, design, and develop tools and services that enhance our internal data infrastructure and the pipelines that feed it using technologies like Python, Go, AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and alerting systems for our data infrastructure to ensure early detection of issues.
  • Conduct ongoing maintenance tasks, such as applying upgrades to our data systems.
  • Support product developers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers in debugging and triaging production issues.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into production systems.
  • Engage in postmortem reviews and suggest improvements to enhance the reliability of our platforms.
  • Maintain documentation of your actions and develop automation solutions to minimize routine work.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven experience with AWS services like Redshift, Glue, Sagemaker, etc.
  • Proficiency in data-focused programming languages such as Python or SQL.
  • Experience or knowledge in machine learning model training and deployment.
  • Familiarity with ML frameworks and libraries, e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch.
  • Understanding of MLOps principles is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of orchestration tools like Dagster/Airflow.
  • Basic understanding of Golang, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with deployment/provisioning tools like Terraform, Helm, Ansible.
  • Ability to document requirements and specifications clearly and effectively.
