Join the dynamic Digital Analytics & Experimentation team at Ford Motor Company, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Collaborate closely with analysts and stakeholders to ensure a scalable data pipeline that powers our Qlik dashboards, enterprise reporting, and other data-driven projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data transformation pipelines on GCP, handling complex business rules and high-volume data from various sources, including Adobe Analytics.
- Build and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines using GCP services such as Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub to meet digital analytics requirements.
- Develop and optimize ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources into our data warehouse, ensuring high data quality and consistency.
- Build and maintain data models within BigQuery, optimizing for performance and scalability to support complex analytical queries.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to translate business requirements into actionable data models and pipelines for reports, dashboards, and other analytical outputs.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models.
- Implement and maintain data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Qlik dashboards, ensuring they are powered by accurate and timely data.
- Stay current with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering, with a particular focus on the GCP ecosystem.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of building and maintaining data pipelines and data warehouses.
- Extensive experience with GCP services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Data Fusion.
- Strong experience with Adobe Analytics data structures and APIs, including data extraction and processing.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with data modeling techniques, specifically for analytical purposes.
- Proficiency in Python or Java for data processing and automation tasks.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Qlik is a plus.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with digital analytics data (Adobe clickstream, transaction, and OMS data).
- Prior background in ecommerce analytics applications.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
