At Effy, data is the cornerstone that guides all company decisions and shapes long-term strategy. Our Data Team is a cross-functional group interacting with all business units at both strategic and operational levels. The team's mission is to collect, process, and model data to provide each business unit with reliable and relevant metrics, enabling them to:

• Monitor their performance in real-time
• Make swift decisions based on data
• Develop their medium and long-term strategies (hunting plans, media investment, incentives)
• Offer in-depth analyses for better opportunity grasping
• Enhance company performance through machine learning algorithms (e.g., user scoring, churn prediction)

You will be working alongside business analysts, data scientists, data engineers, and the entire digital team, covering functional (product managers, product owners), technical aspects (architects, developers, cloud), thus enhancing both your business and technical skills.

Within the data team, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's inner workings and key success factors.

Main Responsibilities:

• Defining and developing a Data architecture
• Collecting data from multiple sources
• Automating data flows
• Ensuring compliance with data collection and access regulations (GDPR)
• Collaborating and communicating with internal/external teams
• Extracting, standardizing, and structuring data from our datalake
• Mastering data modeling in a datalake to ensure proper execution of processes
• Ensuring the reliability of used data
• Setting up data flows between systems for both ingestion and exposure (batch, API, real-time, etc.)
• Understanding the overall Datalake architecture and recommending adaptations for the deployment and processing of models

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in data engineering. Passion for open data. Proficiency in Python and various data flow technologies: SQL, BigQuery, Airflow, API consumption. Familiarity with:

• Cloud: GCP, Composer, Docker
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MySql
• Eventing: Pub/sub, DBT
