Job Summary:

As a Data Engineer at Ruggable, you will take charge of enhancing our data pipelines to support advanced data extraction, storage, processing, and transformation. Work alongside our accomplished technology and engineering teams to develop foundational data infrastructure that propels revenue growth and accelerates user acquisition. You'll play a crucial role in crafting cutting-edge data processes and pipelines, enabling us to derive actionable business insights from complex data sets.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Data Engineer, you will:

• Design and implement processes for data transformation, ensuring optimal data structures, metadata management, dependencies, and workload handling.
• Develop and optimize large-scale data pipelines and architectures, employing tools like Python, Apache Airflow, Meltano, Glue, and Spark.
• Maintain and enhance data integration pipelines from diverse source systems to centralized data lakes.
• Promote best practices in data engineering and contribute to the mentorship of team members.

What You’ll Need:

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of API integration, data extraction methods, and both structured and unstructured data formats.
• Experience with Airflow and familiar with relational and column-oriented DBMS like Redshift, Postgres, CockroachDB.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently or in a team setting.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of AWS, data warehousing, CI/CD tools (Terraform, Jenkins, Github Actions), and BI tools (Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with infrastructure logging, alerting, and monitoring tools like DataDog and Cloudwatch.

Compensation:
