Job Summary: Data Engineer - ML Platforms

As a Data Engineer specializing in ML Platforms at CVS Health, you will have the opportunity to:

• Analyze complex data structures and craft large-scale data engineering pipelines.
• Design and implement data ingestion pipelines using APIs, third-party tools, or custom codes within a Cloud environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Create and standardize massive scale data structures and pipelines to facilitate data-driven insights and reporting capabilities.
• Implement robust data validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Utilize your strong programming skills in SQL, pyspark, Python, or Java to develop sophisticated data systems.
• Optimize pipelines, refine coding practices, and work with distributed computing and model training.

Who Should Apply?

Ideal candidates will be robust learners with a passion for continuously updating their expertise in business, algorithmic knowledge, and technological advancements. Required for success:

• At least 3 years of experience building cloud-native analytical products in GCP, Azure, or AWS, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience in scalable distributed computation frameworks like Spark and knowledge of Dev/ML Ops models.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, pyspark, Java/Scala. Familiarity with UNIX commands is also essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the healthcare domain, hands-on ML programming in Python, and expertise in ML platforms and toolsets like Vertex AI will be advantageous. GCP Certifications would also be beneficial.

Education & Pay Range:

A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required, with a Master’s degree preferred. The typical pay range for this role is $72,100.00 - $144,200.00, plus potential bonuses and incentives.
