The Ecosystem and Operational Risk team, belonging to the Value Added Services (VAS) department, is hunting for inquisitive, creative, and talented technologists to join us. This position is meant for a Senior Consultant Data Engineer with substantial development experience, who will concentrate on discovering novel ways to manipulate data. As an applicant, you should be a passionate and skilled developer capable of working in a vibrant environment. Your robust technical skills, leadership, problem-solving expertise, and proficiency in coding, testing, and debugging are just the starting point. You should be open to stepping out of your comfort zone, challenging yourself, and being ready to undertake a range of tasks.
You will contribute significantly to the development team, often exploring new requirements, conceptualizing, debating, refactoring, implementing, and continually documenting in a persistent effort to offer superior solutions to our clients. You must be a self-organized individual, flexible, and prepared to switch tasks based on business needs.

Essential Functions
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
• 10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 8+ relevant years of experience
with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA) or 5+ more years of experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated knowledge of successful design, architecture, and development of data pipelines
• Experience in creating data driven business solutions and solving data problems using a broad
variety of technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, MongoDB, NoSQL, as well as traditional data
technologies (RDBMS) like MySQL or Oracle DB is a plus.
• Experience developing large scale, enterprise class distributed system or subsystems that require
high availability, low latency & strong data consistency computing.
• Ability to program in one or more scripting languages such as Python and one or more
programming languages such as Java or Scala
• Design and development skills with Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Presto and Map
Reduce
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Automated Test tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Git,
Selenium, Chef is desirable
• Experience in Graph processing technologies and graph databases such as GraphX and Neo4j is a
plus.
