As a Data Engineer at Kustomer, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing our platform by driving enhancements in data architecture and optimizing data ingestion processes. Data Engineering: Improve classification, ingestion, and reconciliation of data. Enhance ETL processes and manage the integration of diverse data sets using a modern data stack.
Data Analysis/Business Intelligence: Analyze extensive datasets to identify actionable insights, collaborating closely with stakeholders to integrate and visualize data effectively.
Data Debugging: Troubleshoot data-related issues, ensuring integrity and accessibility while upholding stringent privacy and security standards.
Production Support: Oversee our data pipelines, respond to queries, and resolve issues, providing continuous data access and quality.
Best Practices: Lead reviews and educational initiatives in data architecture, system design, and scalability efforts to maintain optimal data practices across Kustomer.
MongoDB, Redis, BigQuery, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, AWS, GCP, and more. Leveraging modern languages and tools such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go, and observability platforms like Datadog and ELK.
Applicants should have at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field, with 5+ years experience in data engineering encompassing MongoDB, Redis, BigQuery, and cloud solutions in GCP and AWS. Expertise in SQL, data privacy, and SRE tools is essential.
Additional qualifications include certifications in cloud or database technologies, proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js, Python, Go, and knowledge in Big Data management, Elasticsearch, and HIPAA Compliance.
