About the Role: Data Engineer
Location: Remote (Full time)
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with various functional teams to implement models and monitor their outcomes.
- Develop and maintain processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
Qualifications: What You Need to Succeed
We’re looking for a dedicated Data Engineer with:
- Strong problem-solving skills focused on product development.
- Proficiency in statistical computer languages such as R, Python, SQL, etc., to manipulate data and extract insights from large datasets.
- 4-7 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in constructing and working with data architectures.
- Knowledge of various machine learning techniques (e.g., clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks) and their practical advantages and constraints.
- Understanding of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (e.g., regression, distribution properties, statistical tests) and their applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination across teams.
- A passion for learning and mastering new technologies and methodologies.
- Minimum of 3 years experience handling data sets and developing statistical models.
- BSc in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, with knowledge of the following languages and tools: C, C++, Java.
