Role Overview & Team

Join our team of skilled Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and Data Scientists who are focused on crafting top-quality data products that enhance core functionalities of our app. We value passion for data, proficiency in computer science, and recent experience in roles such as Data Engineer, Software Engineer, or Machine Learning Engineer. A keen interest in professional sports, betting, and/or eSports will be considered an asset.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage event-driven distributed systems for extensive data handling and backend service integration.
  • Construct real-time data streaming pipelines.
  • Implement industry-leading SDLC and MLOps processes in collaboration with our Data Science team.
  • Deploy, orchestrate, and maintain data science models.
  • Lead the design and ongoing enhancement of our robust data systems and platforms.
  • Define and achieve specific Service Level Objectives (SLOs) with your team.
  • Extend and refine existing systems, tools, and infrastructure.

Your Expertise

  • Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, distributed systems, algorithms, and software design.
  • Minimum of 3 years in data engineering, machine learning, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Python and one compiled language (Java, Go, Elixir).
  • Competent with Kafka, Pub/Sub or similar streaming platforms.
  • Experienced in using orchestration tools like Airflow and managing databases via SQL.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines especially for Machine Learning projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
