Job Description:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Transform current ETL processes into automated versions.
  • Create and maintain database tables; develop ETL processes ensuring timely updates.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot to guarantee accurate data processing, addressing any quality issues.
  • Enhance integration and automation within ETL processes using cutting-edge applications and tools.
  • Update and adapt the Redshift environment reflecting any new data requirements and business growth.
  • Maintain comprehensive data dictionary, database documentation, and reference materials.

Credit, Risk, and Marketing Modeling:

  • Perform annual validations of credit, risk, and marketing models.
  • Generate annual performance charts and distribute score graphics for models.
  • Analyze and research model stability by tracking score and attribute shifts over time.

Product Development:

  • Develop and support products tracking attribute and model changes quarterly.
  • Assist in developing product proofs-of-concept and engage in analytics alongside senior team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on ETL process development and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
  • Proficient with GitHub, cloud computing, data warehousing, and AWS products (Redshift, S3, EMR, EC2).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a knack for database management and automated reporting.
