Join Clario as a Data Manager

The Data Manager is a pivotal role at Clario, responsible for ensuring high-quality data is obtained, processed, and reported to Sponsors. You'll define the methods and tools Clario employs to provide these services and serve as the main contact for all data-related issues for both internal and external teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Data Manager, you will:

• Serve as the primary contact for Data Management questions and issues, including but not limited to:
  • Data collection
  • Data cleaning
  • Data delivery
  • Data reconciliation
  • Database lock
  • Data Management activity timelines
• Define the Data Management Plan (DMP):
  • Collaborate with Sponsors to define study requirements
  • Determine standard edit checks to ensure clean data
  • Develop Query Guidelines and SEC rules
  • Communicate DMP contents and commitments to internal CDM teams
  • Complete data management related pages in EXPClario/iClinica
• Lead the development, review, and finalization of data transfer requirements:
  • Customize Clario standard file specifications
  • Review and consult with Sponsors
  • Coordinate finalization and approval of file specifications
  • Maintain approved file specifications
• Serve as the primary point of contact for query escalation:
  • Review and resolve escalated queries
  • Provide consolidated escalated query listings to Sponsor teams
  • Resolve Sponsor or Site issues escalated through Customer Care
• Create and review Data Archives for Sponsors and Sites
• Ensure high customer satisfaction
• Identify out-of-scope requests and elevate these to the Project Manager
• Ensure Data Management Files are up-to-date and comprehensive
• Conduct routine status meetings with Sponsor/CRO and internal teams

Other Duties and Responsibilities

In addition to the above, you will assist in monthly reporting by providing necessary metrics, clearly communicate project status, contribute to continuous process improvement, and lead in CAPA issues related to study-specific data management activities.

Qualifications and Skills Needed

Education: BS/BA Degree in Life Sciences or related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Data Management or related experience, preferably in a clinical research position. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong organizational, interpersonal, time-management, and problem-solving skills. Previous SAS or SQL exposure or experience is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
