About the Data Scientist Position
We are on the hunt for an adept Data Scientist who will assist us in analyzing large volumes of information to discover trends and exploit them to enhance our warehouse performance. Your responsibility will be to construct data products to extract valuable business insights, analyze patterns and assist us in making more strategically informed decisions.
We anticipate you to be highly analytical, ingrained with an aptitude for mathematics and statistics, and a fervor for operations research and optimization. Having critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills are also essential.
Data Scientist Responsibilities Include:
- Identifying meaningful data sources and automating data collection procedures
- Conducting preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
- Analyzing large volumes of information to identify trends and patterns
- Structuring and presenting information via data visualization techniques
- Developing and proposing solutions and strategies to business challenges
- Collaborating with engineering and product development teams
Data Scientist Requirements Include:
- 5+ years' experience of working in a Data Scientist or Data Analyst (http://link...) role
- Pronounced experience in data mining and operations research
- Noteworthy experience utilizing business intelligence tools (like Amazon Quicksight)
- Firm understanding of SQL and Python; familiarity with AWS tools (Athena is a plus)
- Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities, with business insight
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Robust problem-solving skills
- Ability to design, build, and implement constructive simulations by using supplied software tools and applying the design of experiments best practices
- Understanding how to analyze and synthesize large data sets with various analytic frameworks and statistical methods
