The Role: Data Scientist - Investigations

We are excited to expand our team with a talented mid-level Data Scientist. This role involves working alongside our remarkable team of client-facing data scientists and support analysts to identify and analyze patterns in fraud data. You will employ exploratory data analyses to extract meaningful insights and develop actionable strategies to mitigate fraud risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage directly with clients to provide insights from fraud analytics and machine learning models.
• Analyze large-scale datasets to spot fraud patterns, trends, and potential threats, enhancing client outcomes.
• Address specific fraud challenges with clients to tailor sophisticated solutions effectively.
• Create and present detailed reports of your findings.
• Continually enhance model features and performance.
• Optimize our network graph's efficiency through advanced network analysis techniques.
• Work with state-of-the-art cloud infrastructure and maximize the use of analytical tools.
• Develop and automate tools in Python to boost our analytics capabilities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a data analyst, intelligence analyst, or data scientist.
• Strong critical thinking skills with a keen interest in data problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Prior experience with SQL and running complex data queries.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with ML techniques, network analysis, DBT, and Python for data analysis.
