Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic Data Science team. This pivotal role involves executing our 2024 data science roadmap and contributing significantly to our ML- and AI-powered features. Responsibilities include developing the Groov Index, modeling work patterns, optimizing user interaction prompts, and enhancing internal efficiencies using advanced AI techniques like RAGs and LLMs. This position will require a robust foundation in both data science and data engineering, focusing on AWS pipeline construction, machine learning model creation, Generative AI integration, and comprehensive data analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, train, and deploy machine learning and AI models that personalize and enhance the efficiency of Groov products.
  • Handle extensive data preparation, cleaning, and analysis to ensure top-quality modeling data.
  • Build and manage ETL pipelines using tools like PySpark, Python, AWS Glue, and Airtable.
  • Liaise with product and business units to convert business requirements into robust technical outcomes.
  • Use R and Python for detailed statistical analysis and predictive modeling to support strategic business decisions.
  • Quantify the business impact of product features through meticulous business analysis.
  • Guarantee the scalability and efficacy of our data models and pipelines in production settings.
  • Create and maintain insightful reports and dashboards with Power BI and R Shiny for both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years in Data Science with a track record of practical ML application, data analysis, and insight generation.
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, and R with deep experience in data wrangling and machine learning.
  • Proven capability with AWS cloud services, data pipeline management, and ETL processes.
  • Experience in handling large datasets and using Big Data tools such as PySpark.
  • Skillful in creating insightful analytical reports and dashboards with Power BI and R Shiny.
  • Academic credentials in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the proficiency to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with .Net and experience with self-hosted, open-source generative AI models is advantageous.
