Job Description

Job Purpose:
We are looking for a highly proficient Data Scientist with a demonstrated resume in handling big data and designing A/B tests for Machine learning models in e-commerce. As a Data Scientist, you will closely collaborate with our team of analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to drive data-driven insights and solutions that boost our customer experience.
About the project: The A/B testing team is responsible for offering infrastructure for conducting A/B testing in Autodoc. The setup includes the full procedure of executing tests: initiating and registering tests, gathering data from the database on tests, analyzing results, and drawing inferences from them for the main user segments.

Responsibilities:
1.Build A/B testing architecture for machine learning models that optimize business functions, such as customer segmentation, promotions, product recommendations, and pricing strategies.
2.Work together with cross-functional teams to outline and prioritize business issues and research questions that can be answered with data-driven solutions.
3.Plan, carry out, and interpret A/B tests to enhance model performance and provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
4.Institute strategies to expedite A/B testing process without compromising the quality of the outcomes.
5.Create and implement data pipelines and processes to extract, transform and load large volumes of data from various sources.
6.Perform exploratory data analysis, create data visualizations, and communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences.
7. Keep up with the latest research and industry trends in machine learning and data science, and apply them to enhance our processes and methodologies.

Qualifications (Essential)
5-7+ years experience in a data science role, with shown expertise in machine learning, statistics, and big data technologies.
Strong programming skills in Python and experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
Experience with A/B testing, experimental design, and statistical analysis of results.
Proven ability to expedite the A/B testing process while preserving the quality of the results.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to accomplish tasks with own expertise in domain zone.
Guides others in the most intricate product parts.

Qualifications (Desired)
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, or related fields.
Experience with distributed computing frameworks, like Hadoop, Spark, or similar and cloud-based data platforms, like GCP.

Experience (ideal or minimum experience required for role – certifications, languages, education & years)
At least 5-7+ years of relevant work experience in DS.
Excellent communication skills
