The Product Operations team is dedicated to driving Salesforce’s product planning and delivery life cycle. We collaborate with product executives, managers, technology program managers, and operations leaders across Technology & Products to streamline product life cycle processes, drive data-informed decisions, and create actionable insights for our stakeholders to enhance their productivity, efficacy, and impact.

This new role focuses on measuring and analysing key product lifecycle activities. You will work with product and engineering stakeholders to conduct and execute data analysis, develop visualizations, identify issues in our datasets and governance processes, and derive insights that facilitate better data-driven decisions. Your remit will span the entire product lifecycle, from inception through retirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs by working closely with Technology Experience Product Managers, leading the gathering, analysis, documentation, and communication of business and technical requirements for new solutions.
  • Influence stakeholders and improve decision-making through compelling storytelling and visualization.
  • Leverage data and analytical techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, causal inference, experimentation) to deliver impactful insights that inform key business decisions through presentations with senior leadership.
  • Provide actionable recommendations through data analysis to help our stakeholders improve productivity, reduce costs, or increase revenue.
  • Identify and document data analysis requirements for various stakeholders across the product organization, and guide data model and design decisions for product systems.
  • Design and develop visualizations and dashboards to address critical business needs.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of work experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Analytics with progressive experience in data visualizations/dashboards using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
  • Deep experience with Tableau and BI tools is required.
  • Creativity and passion for designing dashboards for specific personae.
  • Compelling storyteller with active listening skills capable of leading stakeholder presentations and leadership briefings.
  • Proven track record of strategic thinking, collaboration, and leading complex and highly impactful projects.
  • Expert in visually representing complex information to drive business impact.
  • Expert in SQL and Non-SQL tools for data analysis and report development.
  • Strong experience with one or more database management tools like Oracle, Teradata, MS SQL Server, MySQL, etc. as an analyst.
  • A related technical degree is a plus.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,200 to $305,600. For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $175,600 to $254,700. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $175,600 to $280,200. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,200 to $305,600.
