Key Responsibilities

As an ETL Tester, you will:

• Perform thorough ETL testing, applying your advanced SQL skills and knowledge of transformation logic.
• Work closely with teams to understand Azure data pipelines, using tools like Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Lake.
• Create sophisticated SQL queries within the Azure Databricks environment.
• Translate complex business logic into effective SQL queries.
• Lead data conversion testing and ongoing maintenance efforts.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure all functionalities meet our high standards.
• Communicate effectively across various teams.
• Utilize automation frameworks to improve testing processes, depending on your previous experience.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in ETL testing, with a strong emphasis on SQL query development.
• Proficiency in managing and understanding Azure data pipelines.
• An extensive background in Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Lake.
• A solid grasp of database systems and the ability to discuss complex concepts clearly and effectively.
• The capability to transform detailed business requirements into structured SQL queries.
• A sharp analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with automation frameworks is considered a plus.
