About the Role
As a Centre of Excellence, our team plays a critical role in uncovering and preventing financial crimes such as money laundering, ensuring a real-time data-driven understanding of risks, and supporting academic research within the financial sector. Our department, with over 50 employees, excels in the entire model life cycle—from model design to developing robust Python-based solutions, adhering to best practices in software engineering, and maintaining and monitoring model performance.
To support this mission, Super AI’s data engineering team manages big data through storage, curation, and exposure, collaborating with various teams across the bank to understand the complete data value chain and journey.

Your Responsibilities
- Develop sustainable, efficient, and scalable data pipelines for both batch and real-time, adhering to best practices and ongoing monitoring.
- Serve as a point of reference for Data Engineering topics in projects and collaborate on project tasks related to data to develop production-ready, scalable models and applications.
- Integrate, explore, and aggregate data, including data cleaning, error removal, and schema change.
- Gain a good understanding of data lake architecture and the bank’s data storage systems (Hadoop, SQL, cloud, etc.).
- Develop a thorough understanding of the bank's data to proactively address data abnormalities and monitoring cases, and to clarify user misunderstandings.
- Co-develop and document standards for best practices and processes in data engineering.
About You
- Minimum of 5 years experience in SQL, Spark, or Python.
- Proven expertise in end-to-end data pipelines.
- Knowledgeable in data engineering tool stacks, comfortable exploring and using new technologies and methods.
- Interest and experience in Data Science and Machine Learning.
- Curious and tenacious problem-solver with a results-oriented holistic view.
- Ability to establish sustainable solutions with low technical debt and understand when to automate or simplify.
- Take ownership while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- Upper-intermediate English language skills.
- Higher education in mathematics, engineering, computer science, physics, or a related field.
Compensation and Benefits
