Meta is on the lookout for a forward-thinking, experienced Front End Data Science Developer to enhance our Data Center Data Science Team. As a key player in this team, you will be pivotal in managing data engineering, business intelligence, advanced analytics, and software development specific to our Infrastructure Data Center operations.

Role Overview

This position focuses on frontend development, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and frameworks such as React JS, PHP, and GraphQL. Your role will be instrumental in constructing world-class data centers and developing applications that empower them. These applications will help our facilities and sites autonomously serve billions of people worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

As a Front End Data Science Developer at Meta, you will:

• Develop and test web-based data-focused software applications that enhance the efficiency of data center pre-ops and operations teams.
• Architect and optimize front-end systems for complex web applications to enhance internal customer-facing Data Science products using Machine Learning and Optimization techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation and iteration of internal data science products.
• Scale and optimize data center capacity through innovative analytics software solutions, promoting efficiency and automation.
• Identify and resolve issues related to performance and UI scalability.
• Apply advanced methods to derive solutions efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in designing and building software applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React (React.JS or React Native), HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Object-Oriented JavaScript Frameworks like Prototype JS, MooTools, or Dojo.
• Expertise in front-end architectural design, performance debugging, and automated testing.
• Understanding of data visualization and the configuration of ML & Optimization models.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into software specifications.
• Effective in managing multiple projects and working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with big data, statistics, Machine Learning, algorithms, and optimization.

Compensation & Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of US$124,000 to US$191,000 per year, plus bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
