We are currently on the lookout for a highly competent and versatile Full-Stack Data Analyst to join our energetic team. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity that presents a full-stack position, merging both data engineering and data analysis.
This individual will play a central role in ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of our data and in deriving insights from our data to support decision making across the institution. As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will coordinate with various teams, including Marketing, Product, R&D, Sales and Customer Success, to accommodate the unique data requirements of our company. The successful candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, enabling them to derive actionable insights from complex data sets. You will report directly to the CTO and will liaise with several key stakeholders of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Take on, preserve, and upgrade data pipelines to ensure data is accessible and of high quality.
- Analyze and decipher complex data related to marketing, product performance, and user behavior.
- Engage with stakeholders from various teams to collect requirements, enhance data understanding, and explain insights.
- Analyze and bridge "data gaps" within the organization and establish the "source of truth" for critical metrics. Identify and rectify discrepancies in key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Create dashboards to monitor KPIs, evaluate performance against the established plan and benchmarks, identify areas of improvement.
- Maintain dashboards to keep track of the entire user funnel, including setting up alerts for anomalies and opportunities.
- Establish systems for proactive data monitoring and anomaly detection, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Head the integration with third-party platforms, optimizing data inputs for email marketing tools and advertising platforms, which may require designing algorithms to use data from various sources and establish triggers for third-party platforms. (High LTV users, almost-churned users, potential conversions, etc)
- Contribute to the development of the Arena Analytics pipeline and data warehouse for a customer-facing analytics module. Use tools such as Fivetran, Snowflake, and ThoughtSpot.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience functioning as a Data Analytics Specialist / Data Engineer / Full-Stack Data Analyst or a similar position.
- Prior experience in a data role, preferably within the SaaS industry, with an expertise in building complex data pipelines.
- Superior command over English - written and verbal (all interviews, communications, and meetings will be in English alone).
- Experience in ad hoc analyses and Snowflake SQL for in-depth data exploration.
- Experience in ETL management, specifically with tools like Xplenty and Fivetran.
- Familiarity with dbt for managing and modeling data.
- Ability to comfortably use Snowflake reader account and secure view management.
- Capability to integrate and collaborate with Google Analytics/Ads and Facebook for data insights.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Detailed oriented and possess an eye for identifying trends and anomalies.
- Business foresight, strategic thinking, and a data-driven mindset.
- Strong communication ability to engage with stakeholders from various teams, collect requirements, and explain insights.
