The Role: Geospatial Data Analyst

As a Geospatial Data Analyst at Pano AI, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our wildfire detection systems. Reporting to the Geospatial R&D Engineer Lead, you will use advanced geospatial analysis techniques to identify optimal locations for our camera installations, contributing directly to our operational efficiency and technological advancements.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with key teams including Customer Success and Sales to refine geospatial data utilization.
• Employ GIS software and methodologies for strategic site selection.
• Create specialized mapping applications and tools to support various internal teams.
• Develop automated solutions for site analysis, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide technical training and support to team members.
• Engage in ongoing projects with data scientists and engineers.
• Travel as needed for project requirements (0-25% travel).

What You’ll Bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in data analysis or a related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in geospatial analysis and mathematical concepts.
• Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with ArcGIS/ESRI or similar platforms is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of programming in Python.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Exposure to data integration with CRM solutions like Salesforce.
