Job Description Role purpose: The successful applicant will ensure that the correct organizational and employee data is maintained in our HCM system to facilitate HR analytics and HR processes delivery by: - Monitoring and measuring data accuracy in the system - Assessing data quality root causes and collaborating with stakeholders to establish end-to-end corrective and preventative solutions - Consulting with, advising, and educating HR teams on correct use of HCM-related processes and their associated data input criteria to drive data quality Accountabilities: Data quality monitoring and governance: - Define data quality metrics for essential data points and devise enduring measurement methods - Organize frequent meetings with key global and regional stakeholders to constantly monitor and enhance data quality - Actively monitor applicable system process transactions to recognize inconsistencies in important data points, including existing RPAs - Conduct regular and ad hoc data audits and data quality campaigns - Support regional counterparts to ensure audits, campaigns and any changes are smoothly implemented - Hold regular meetings and maintain contact with regional counterparts to share knowledge, updates, activity tracking, and provide mutual support - Determine methods and procedures for identifying and collecting information not currently captured in the system - Join the Annual Compensation Cycle forum to aid in resolving ad hoc data quality issues, considering the high-profile nature and tight timing Data quality continuous improvement by addressing root causes: - Construct strong networks with Business HR colleagues to broaden an external perspective on colleagues’ data challenges and use understanding to shape proactive improvements for data quality - Proactively analyze reports, data metrics results, and inconsistently trackers to identify recurring and impactful data issues - Uphold deep investigations of how data was entered into the system by understanding the designated process, examining system transaction history records and consulting with users to ascertain the root cause of issues - Collaborate with HR IT team, process owner, and other stakeholders to define and establish process and system changes to address root causes Data literacy and data quality subject matter expert and champion: - Communicate, instruct, and advise HR teams on the interpretation, usage, and implications of data within HR processes and systems - Assist Business HR with reorganizations, mergers, and acquisitions concerning system interdependencies, data requirements, and lead times, especially for medium to large scale changes across various geographic locations - Aid Business HR with establishing the relevant data/people hierarchies in the HR system Qualifications Knowledge, experience & capabilities: - Knowledge of HR Operations systems and processes and demonstrable experience in HR process and system solutions design - Experience in translating business needs into process and technology requirements - Experience managing HR data for mid to large organizations, having been responsible for validating HR data quality and integrity and advising HR on data maintenance - Experience in supporting HR data changes for reorganizations, mergers, and acquisitions - Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, with a holistic view across data, technology, processes, and teams - Experience in fostering relationships with peers and senior stakeholders, collaborating, building consensus, and working with cross-functional teams across multiple locations and cultures - Experience with project management and change management - Fluent in English - Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Excel, Power Point Additional Information We offer: - Annual bonuses - A competitive pension fund plan - Learning opportunities and career development - A position that impacts significantly and contributes to meaningful work in an exciting international environment Syngenta is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate in recruitment, hiring, training, promotion, or other employment practices for reasons of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, marital or veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status.
