About the Role
We are on the lookout for a meticulous and tech-savvy
HRIS Data Specialist to bolster our People & Culture team in Sri Lanka. As a key player in our team, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for enhanced data accuracy and efficiency. This position is crucial for supporting our People & Culture operations, providing data-driven insights, and upholding stringent data governance protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and confidentially update employee records in the HRIS, ensuring precise data management.
- Perform regular audits and resolve any discrepancies to guarantee data integrity.
- Create and enforce procedures and best practices for data entry.
- Work closely with the Compensation & Benefits team to drive and apply system enhancements.
- Test and integrate new functionalities and updates within the HRIS effectively.
- Offer end-user support for various HRIS functionalities.
- Produce and share standard and custom reports to aid in organizational and P&C decision-making.
- Analyze data to uncover trends and insights that influence P&C strategies.
- Develop visual dashboards to effectively present critical data.
- Adhere to data privacy standards and organizational policies to ensure compliance.
- Manage data governance standards to secure data integrity and security.
- Support in audit preparations and compliance reporting.
- Engage in HRIS-related projects such as system upgrades and implementations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
- Document and track project plans, progress, and outcomes.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, BambooHR, among others.
- Advanced skills in Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong ability to manage confidential information discreetly.
- Adept in solving complex problems with analytical rigor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of SQL or other reporting languages is beneficial.
- HRIS certification or relevant technical certifications preferred.
- Experience in project management and system implementation.
- Familiarity with data privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA is advantageous.
