Role Purpose: As an emerging data professional, the Intermediate Analytics Engineer will enhance their career in the realm of analytics engineering. Role Description:

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using SQL and Python in a cloud environment.
• Translate technical requirements into reliable data solutions.
• Work closely with data scientists and analysts to meet dynamic data needs.
• Implement and manage automation and testing procedures to ensure data quality and efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold high coding standards.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation and data processing libraries to streamline workflow.
• Support DataOps initiatives, contributing to enhanced data product delivery.
• Provide expertise in data modeling and software engineering practices to drive innovation within data teams.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, or a related field, complemented by at least one year of relevant experience. Proficiency in Python and SQL is essential, along with a good understanding of cloud platforms and data processing technologies like Apache Spark. Experience in an Agile work environment and a strong foundation in software development practices, especially version control and testing methodologies, are highly valued.
