Job Description

What do we offer?

You'll have the opportunity to work on smart manufacturing or digital transformation projects during your internship, acquiring hands-on experience in data collection, analysis and interpretation, and visualization of both time series process data and manufacturing/operational data.

Role & Responsibility

• KEY: Aid in data-related projects by identifying user needs, collecting data, performing data analysis & interpretation and visualizing both time series process data and manufacturing/operational data. Report findings to support decision making and identify enhancement opportunities.
• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders (regional and national) to comprehend user needs (customer voice) and ensure data accuracy and availability.
• Extract data from various platforms (databases, machines, and sensors), track, analyse and report Key Performance Indices (KPIs) and operational status. KPIs may include but not be limited to: Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), Energy Performance index and CO2 footprint, material traceability, operator time tracking etc. Tools may include SEEQ, Python, SQL, and batch scripting.
• Clean and wrangle data for analysis and analytic modeling.
• Update regional operation dashboards. Tools may include Power Platform, SEEQ, and QlikView.
• Support the implementation of digital tier meeting dashboards through data automation and analysis solutions.
• Review digitalization project initiatives to assure timely completion and value delivery.
• Produce the expected outcomes of these projects by the end of your internship period (e.g., a report, an analysis, a presentation etc).
• Collaborate with external suppliers or vendors to solve problems as required.

Qualifications

• Applicants with a background in Process Engineering, Industrial System Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar educational programs are welcome.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint).
• Able to commit to a full-time 5-6 month internship commencing September 2023.
