As a Jr. Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in shaping strategies and enhancing business processes. You will support our government clients by harnessing data analytics and cutting-edge technologies to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize data science tools to prepare insightful organizational analyses, forecasts, and research.
• Independently contribute to projects with robust analytical and statistical support within a dedicated workstream.
• Create and manage tools that monitor programs, develop reports, and support the operational use of these analyses.
• Forge custom automation solutions to heighten operational efficiency.
• Prepare detailed briefings, issue papers, and reports that encapsulate mission-related statistics and activities.
• Design, test, and implement innovative data science models tailored to specific agency requirements.
• Pinpoint new data sources that could enhance the precision of existing models and dashboards.
• Analyze regulatory, policy, or programmatic changes and their impact on resources and performance.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Proven analytical capabilities with a strong foundation in data analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation within Databricks, and the ability to create meticulous reports in Excel.
• Familiarity with Databricks and Oracle Analytics Server is a plus.
• Previous work experience in or with ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) will be highly valuable.
• An academic background in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in data analysis or a related discipline.
