About the Role: Logistics Scheduler

As a Logistics Scheduler, you'll create world-class customer experiences using your problem-solving skills, innovation, and ability to work as a team player. This role covers 24/7 shifts, including fixed weekend days.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily same-day or next-day forecasts.
  • Plan delivery routes or monitor volume flow, impacting tens of thousands of packages across Europe.
  • Be accountable for planning accuracy, cost efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Develop best practices and standard work for the network.
  • Ensure targets and service deadlines are met in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate the flow of information between various departments and resolve any issues impacting business continuity.
  • Conduct research into process improvement initiatives and make real-time strategic decisions.
  • Maintain and report accurate statistics, management reports, and analysis.

A Day in the Life:

This position is office-based three days per week with the flexibility to work remotely for up to two days per week, consistent with Amazon’s current flexible work guidelines. As a Logistics Scheduler, you'll work across the EU in a cross-functional environment with the Supply Chain, Distribution Centers, and Ground Transportation teams to support day-to-day operations. Your main goal: ensure timely delivery of heavy/bulky shipments to our customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in analytical tasks or projects, working with data.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English (C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR).
  • Experience with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience communicating with senior stakeholders and leadership.
  • Previous experience in transportation or logistics.
  • Working knowledge of programming and coding languages (SQL or Python).
  • Flexibility to work night shifts if requested.
