Role Overview
As our new Junior Data Analyst, you will collaborate closely with Operations managers to derive actionable insights from data, driving strategic business decisions. Your efforts will focus on optimizing processes, developing industry-leading data analysis practices, and contributing to our mission of shaping the future car market. Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside Operational teams to comprehend business requirements and deliver insightful data-driven recommendations.
- Execute complex data queries using SQL within our internal systems and Google BigQuery data warehouse.
- Analyze and clean data to identify trends, pinpoint bottlenecks, and suggest areas for enhancement.
- Create and maintain data visualizations and dashboards to monitor KPIs and assist stakeholders in making informed decisions.
- Propose and test new operational improvements by critically analyzing data and employing experimental techniques.
- Collaborate with analytics engineers to integrate new data sources into our analytics framework.
Qualifications & Skills
- Demonstrable analytical prowess and proficiency in SQL, with an aptitude for querying large datasets and conducting in-depth analyses.
- Strong mathematical and statistical understanding, with prior experience in experimental design and statistical tests.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience in stakeholder management and the ability to develop substantial relationships across the business.
- Proactive and self-starting attitude, thriving in fast-paced environments and tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Python or R, and experience with BI tools like Looker or Tableau, are advantageous.
