Job Opportunity: Lead Analyst, Health Customer Analytics

Location: Remote, U.S. (Preferably EST Working Hours)

Job Description

The Lead Analyst, Health Customer Analytics will leverage extensive knowledge in quantitative database marketing and business processes to perform data and analytical analyses supporting our client's marketing and promotional activities. The role involves:

  • Data Analysis and Mining
  • Analysis of Covariance (Test & Control)
  • Cluster Analysis
  • Customer Profiling
  • Campaign Analysis
  • Predictive Statistical Models

The ideal candidate will critically evaluate various techniques and tactics for their potential use in client deliverables. You will collaborate with both internal and client teams on data acquisition, analysis, and presentation of results, reporting directly to a Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report and deck building
  • Customer profiling and segmentation analysis
  • Statistical modeling
  • Establishing the right statistical approach for client scenarios through testing and experimentation
  • Conducting ETL operations and coordinating with clients, agencies, and our internal teams
  • Determining quantitative methods for solving client issues
  • Presenting ideas and findings to prospective and existing clients
  • Proactive interaction with Merkle's global internal groups
  • Evaluating and improving internal tools and processes
  • Developing reports and processes for data quality control
  • Interpreting, visualizing, and delivering insights based on analytic results
  • Anticipating project risks and constraints, and working on solutions proactively

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) or equivalent in statistics, math, economics, or a related scientific/quantitative field; advanced degree (M.A., M.S., Ph.D.) preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in quantitative marketing, database, or digital marketing, with a strong understanding of relational database concepts
  • Experience in the Healthcare industry, specifically Pharma, is helpful but not required
  • Proficiency with multiple analytics tools such as Python, R, SQL; experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud computing platforms is a plus
  • Experience in dashboard design, deployment, and client delivery (Tableau, Datorama) preferred
  • Experience with various statistical techniques such as regression, ANOVA, cluster analysis, factor analysis, time series forecasting, experimental and design methodologies
  • Ability to uncover hidden insights or complex patterns using advanced multivariate data mining techniques
  • Strong ability to translate analysis insights into actionable marketing recommendations and strategies
Salary and Benefits
