Job Opportunity: Lead Analytics Engineer at Facet

About the Role

As a Lead Analytics Engineer at Facet, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our insights programs and machine learning features. You will bridge the gap between business operations, our platform, and our data team to create a world-class member experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of core data models for efficient use across Analytics, Data Science, and Machine Learning use cases.
• Efficient orchestration of data models to ensure accuracy, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage relationships with core technology partners in Data Science & Analytics, Software Engineering, Business Operations, Cybersecurity, and Platform Engineering.
• Identify and troubleshoot suspicious system behaviors and results to prevent downstream reporting and model output issues.

Essential Technical Skills

• Extensive experience with Python and SQL for solving data problems.
• Familiarity with cloud environments like BigQuery or Snowflake, and supporting GCP or AWS technologies.
• Experience monitoring large projects and budgets on GCP or AWS.
• Advanced experience with SQL template engines like dbt and Airflow.
• Experience with distributed data systems like Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn and xgboost.
• Experience with version control in collaboration with Analysts, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers.

Additional Skills and Expertise

• Deep understanding of Data Science, Machine Learning, and Analytics workflows.
• Experience building foundational historical data models.
• Experience with customer data modeling, including behavioral measurement aggregation and identity resolution.
• Knowledge of financial data, including transactions and account balances, is a plus.
• Familiarity with subscription sales, marketing data, web analytics, and ecommerce tracking.
• Experience with multi-touch attribution modeling.
