What we offer
Agency Description
The Office of Innovation & Technology (OIT) is the central IT agency for the City of Philadelphia led by the Chief Information Officer (CIO). OIT oversees all significant information and communications technology initiatives - enhancing the efficacy of the city's technology infrastructure to deliver advanced, optimized, and prompt services to the city’s businesses, residents, and visitors. Responsibilities include formulating the most effective implementation approach for new technology, increasing returns on technology investments, ensuring data security continuity; and supporting efficient and accountable governance across every city department.
In collaboration with the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and the Office of the Director of Finance, OIT is initiating a major citywide project to modernize core financial, grant, procurement, and supply chain business processes. This project, OPAL ERP and DW/BI, replaces existing general ledger and procurement systems, which will reduce transaction processing time, enhance access to information for reporting and analysis, and facilitate easier onboarding of new employees into these functions.
The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Data Analytics and Reporting Lead will manage a team responsible for ERP data reporting for the OPAL ERP and DW/BI project. This permanent position includes overseeing the implementation of all analytics and reporting aspects of the ERP project, including BI and third-party applications, shifting to maintenance and support after project completion (in 3-4 years).
