Requirements and Responsibilities

As a Lead Research/AI Engineer, You Will:

  • Leverage data-driven insights to enhance our electric vehicle solutions and driver-friendly tours.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to identify data-driven opportunities, applying advanced analytics and machine learning to optimize fleet operations.
  • Work with technologies like Rust, Kotlin, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

What You'll Bring

  • Design, develop, and implement machine learning models to optimize EV fleet charging infrastructure.
  • Analyze tours for quality metrics and prototype various algorithms based on scientific publications for optimal solutions.
  • Extract and visualize insights from different datasets to drive decision-making and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.

Key Skillsets

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in machine learning, data science, and statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling, with experience in Jupyter notebooks.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and SQL, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team and communicate findings effectively.

Must-Have Skills

  • Good algorithmic skills
  • Experience with scientific research/mathematics
  • Proficiency in AI

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the electric vehicle or transportation industry
  • Knowledge of software development principles and Agile environments
