Position Summary: Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a candidate to support the design, development, and implementation of Security Data Analytic capabilities. The role leverages cybersecurity data and big data technologies to increase efficiencies and discover new capabilities.

• Design and implement discrete and behavioral analytic capabilities to support cybersecurity operations.
• Develop resilient data pipelines and architectures for ingesting unbounded data from multiple sources using technologies like Hadoop, Spark, NiFi, and Kafka.
• Utilize cloud-based applications (AWS, GCP, Azure) for data ingestion and indexing.
• Stay updated with the latest data science technologies to identify new tool applications for security use cases.
• Develop data visualization capabilities and support the infrastructure design for integration with other security systems.
• Stay abreast of industry security trends and threats to inform the design and implementation of software solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Hadoop, Spark, NiFi, Kafka, and cloud-based applications (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems.
• Experience managing large data sets.
• REGEX experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for learning new technologies.
• Experience processing large volumes of data.
• Proven ability to design and implement capabilities in a Hadoop-based, Spark big data environment.
• Experience in designing and implementing real-time data pipelines with NiFi, Kafka, and Spark Streaming.
• Strong background in Information System Security and data science processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of statistical computing techniques and statistics software.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Education

Bachelor's degree or a combination of a High School diploma and relevant experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $72,100.00 - $144,200.00. This range represents the base hourly rate or annual full-time salary for all positions within this job grade. Actual base salary will depend on factors like experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for CVS Health's bonus, commission, or short-term incentive programs.
