The Opportunity: Machine Learning Platform Engineer

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with expertise in ML platform pipelines to join our Advertising Cloud team. You will work on a leading spend optimization platform, helping enterprise clients achieve their marketing goals while evolving and owning the digital marketing space through innovative solutions. This role demands critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, monitor, and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines, including data ingestion, preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Develop service APIs for ML Infrastructure components—Serving Layer, Metadata Store, Model Registry, Feature Store, and Pipeline Orchestrator.
• Enable developers to move from ML ideas to production in weeks or less.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for model optimization.
• Proactively explore innovative solutions to enhance pipeline efficiency and performance.

What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 8+ years of proven experience focusing on building ML pipelines and deploying ML models in production.
• Experience in developing ML Platform features that are effective for MLEs and Data Scientists.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Model Development Lifecycle, from ad hoc analysis to monitored services in production.
• Experience with GPUs, reading GPU profiles, debugging CUDA kernels, and optimizing GPU workloads is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of best practices in data and model management.
• Understanding the differences between unstructured and structured data and optimizing data loading for training jobs.
• Exceptional computer science fundamentals, including architecture, design, and performance.
• Experience with scalable, distributed systems and DBMS like PostgreSQL.
• Passion for automation, including experience with automation testing and monitoring tools.
• Experience in the Advertising domain is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and quickly adaptable to new technologies and requirements.
