Position Overview

As the Data Quality Team Manager at Diligent Corporation, your role will be to supervise the team's efforts to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data within Salesforce.com and other relevant databases. Your leadership will be pivotal in improving data quality and maintaining top-tier data hygiene processes. You will work with various stakeholders to understand data requirements, strategize on enhancements, and deliver actionable insights to support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead the Data Quality Team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
  • Data Quality Strategy: Formulate and implement data quality strategies, including best practices for data maintenance, deduplication, verification checks, and data enrichment using third-party data services.
  • Process Optimization: Continually review and optimize data quality processes to ensure efficient and effective data management practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, IT, and others to understand data needs, align data quality initiatives with business goals, and address data-related challenges.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor data quality metrics and KPIs, proactively identifying areas for improvement and making corrective measures when necessary.
  • Reporting and Insights: Create and present data quality reports and insights to relevant stakeholders, including upper management, to foster data-driven decision-making.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members, nurturing their technical and professional growth.
  • Vendor Management: Handle relationships with third-party data service providers, overseeing contract negotiations and ensuring high-quality data services.
  • Data Governance: Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulations, including data privacy and security protocols.
  • Salesforce.com Administration: Supervise Salesforce.com administration tasks and collaborate with the IT team on platform enhancements and integrations.

Qualifications:

  • Leadership Experience: At least five years of experience in data management, with a minimum of two years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Data Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of data quality management practices, data governance, and data enrichment techniques.
  • Salesforce.com Proficiency: Profound knowledge of Salesforce.com administration, including data structures, workflows, and validation rules. Being Salesforce Administrator certified is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and people skills to effectively engage with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with a proven track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Adaptability: Openness to adapting to evolving data technologies and following industry best practices.
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Management, or Business Administration is preferred.
