Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team at Brainly. You will transform machine learning artifacts into production systems, implement state-of-the-art MLOps practices, and develop your skills in NLP, Computer Vision, Generative AI, and large-scale data processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform machine learning artifacts into functional production systems and services.
- Implement tools and frameworks to assist Data Scientists and other stakeholders, optimizing areas in model training, evaluation, data annotation, and processing.
- Process large datasets, utilizing both prepared data pipelines and quick experimentation methods.
- Integrate ML solutions within larger business systems and product features.
- Lead innovation and validate AI opportunities with state-of-the-art Computer Vision, NLP, and modern LLM services.
- Research and stay updated with the latest AI technologies, including models, algorithms, tools, libraries, SaaS, and APIs.
- Build, deploy, automate, maintain, and manage the lifecycle of data science models within the AI Services department.
- Provide engineering support for internal research projects and ML-based production solutions in various areas like Trust & Safety and content moderation.
- Collaborate with production teams to adopt standardized solutions developed by the ML infrastructure team.

The perfect candidate is an enthusiast of educational technologies, blending a background in software development with expertise in cloud infrastructure, machine learning, and Python coding. They will be deeply committed to high-quality software standards, automation, and seeing projects through to completion.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Deep Learning models in production or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience with Deep Learning models for NLP, language models, or text analytics in production.
- Proficiency in Cloud Computing (preferably AWS or Azure, GCP).
- Experience with ML pipelines, feature engineering, training, evaluation, and inference.
- Strong Python coding skills and familiarity with relevant libraries like numpy, Boto3, FastAPI, PyTorch, Pandas, and Poetry.
- Experience with Machine Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, AWS Sagemaker, scikit-learn, and Transformers.
- Deep understanding of Deep Neural Networks, NLP, LLMs, and/or Computer Vision.
- Familiarity with Bash and Linux/Unix, cloud services, parallel computing, and data analysis tools.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in STEM fields (e.g., science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
- Experience with data storage and processing technologies, large-scale ML model serving, Kubernetes, and IaC tools.
- Understanding of Data Engineering, CI/CD, MLOps stack, and modern model serving frameworks.
