Do you wish to shape the future of Go to Market (GTM) at AWS using Generative AI (GenAI)? You will be part of the core worldwide GenAI Training and Inference team, tasked with designing, implementing and deploying targeted strategies to speed up customer adoption of our services and solutions across various industry sectors. You will work directly with our most crucial customers (across segments) in the GenAI model training and inference field, helping them to adopt and scale large workloads (e.g., foundation models) on AWS, developing GTM plans, external/internal evangelism, and developing demos and proof-of-concepts. #GenAI Key Job Responsibilities In this role, you will work closely with customers to the understand Machine Learning (ML) infrastructure requirements and the complexities in scaling GenAI model training across different modalities and use-cases such as Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision which leverage the power of AWS's storage, compute, networking, and ML technologies. You will have the chance to define GTM strategies, lead cross-functional initiatives to grow existing markets, develop scalable programs to drive adoption, and identify new opportunities. Activities include market sizing, building an opportunity pipeline, working with customers to understand technical requirements for proof-of-concepts, creating content to train field teams, driving thought leadership in the industry, working with product teams to define new features, and identifying partners and potential acquisitions. As the ideal candidate, you should have a business and technology background that enables you to lead and drive engagements with startups and large enterprises. You should have domain expertise in key ML use cases, understand the challenges in training and deploying GenAI models; be able to orchestrate workloads using containers/HPC services, and work backwards from customer requirements to suggest scalable solutions and architectures. You should be able to articulate the benefits of ML Frameworks and AWS services to data scientists, data engineers and C-Level executives; have a good understanding of the GenAI market trends, ecosystem, opportunities; be passionate about market development. Interaction, communication, and partnering with teams within AWS (product, solutions architecture, sales, marketing, and professional services) and externally with customers, partners, and importantly, the developer community of ML Frameworks and key open-source offerings is crucial. As part of the role, you will create compelling content, build scalable programs and mechanisms to increase the awareness and adoption of ML frameworks and AWS solutions. Additionally, you will work with the AWS ML and EC2 product teams to shape the product vision and prioritize features for AI/ML Frameworks and applications. A strong sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness is necessary. We are open to hiring candidates in one of the following locations: Austin, TX, USA. Basic Qualifications Basic qualifications include 2+ years of experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements, designing strategies that influence leadership decisions at organizational level, managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, coordinating release schedules, ISTQB certification and 2+ years of technical design/implementation/consulting experience. Additionally, 2+ years of business development, product management, management consulting, and strategic partnership experience; experience in developing and executing GTM strategies that are large in scope; working knowledge of one or more ML Frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, JAX) and ML methods including GenAI foundation models, computer vision models, and other ML models is required. You should have strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to lead effectively across organizations and experience speaking at technology conferences, as well as communicating across the organization from technical staff to VP/CxOs. Preferred Qualifications Preferred qualifications include experience interpreting data and making business recommendations, identifying, negotiating, executing complex legal agreements, having an MBA/MS or equivalent relevant business experience, working with GenAI foundation models, being part of startups working on GenAI foundation models across modalities, having hands-on working knowledge of deep learning and other ML algorithms and infrastructure, 5+ years of pre-sales engineering, technical business development, strategic partnerships, or program/product management experience, experience with cloud computing and/or related fields and the demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations in a matrix environment.
