As a Reliable Technology Leader for our customer in the Oil, Gas and Renewables industry sector, you offer technological guidance and supervise the interaction between the customer and Databricks resources to create new opportunities, generate demand, drive digital transformation, and map industry/business scenarios to Databricks solutions. You ensure that Databricks is seen as a technological leader and that our solutions (end-to-end) deliver extra value compared to the competition by being a trusted advisor to key decision-makers at the CxO level.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Field Engineering.

The impact you will have:

  • You will make an impact on stakeholders at every level through intricate engagements with the broader cloud ecosystem and third-party applications, ensuring they are excited by the Databricks vision and solution strategy.
  • Partnered with the Account Executive, utilizing our large, cross-functional team, lead internal groups to analyze and structure solutions for the customer. Serve as a strategic link between Databricks and the customer by identifying a path for strategic efforts and resources necessary to create a technology strategy.
  • Technology Sales Leadership – You will lead technology thought leadership and sales activities to drive the customer’s digital transformation vision and roadmap with Databricks. Coordinate the extended team, leading joint envisioning sessions with customers, to bring the best aspects of Databricks technology to help the customer attain their digital goals.
  • Digital Transformation Strategy – You will manage the relationship with C-level technology/innovation executives at the customer end and build relationships with business leaders to accomplish their business and technology outcomes. Understand the customer’s business objectives, solution areas, and partner solutions to build a technological roadmap, enabling the customer’s innovation agenda through the employment of our technologies.

What we are looking for:

  • Prior experience in acting as the Customer’s Technology Leader and the "go-to" person in established, long-lasting relationships with technical and/or business decision-makers at the customer’s Chief X Officer (CxO) level.
  • Prior experience in acting as the Technology Leader for the Databricks cross-functional account team and in creating and executing the technology vision for the customer.
  • Ability to innovate technical solutions to realize customers’ business transformation and achieve account growth objectives, by leveraging technology and industry knowledge to deliver digital solutions that speed up the customer's digital vision.
  • Actively builds and maintains comprehensive knowledge of the Oil, Gas and Renewables industry, related business strategy, and critical industry partners and solutions. Collaborate with internal industry experts to gather industry knowledge to improve the customer's outcomes.
