Position Summary

As a Product Analyst at Samsung Ads, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing complex datasets to uncover actionable insights and inform key business initiatives. We are looking for a dedicated professional with at least 4+ years of experience in data analysis, adept in statistical methods and proficient in data manipulation tools and techniques.

Role and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret business requirements and translate them into data analysis tasks.
  • Acquire, clean, and preprocess data from diverse sources to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Use statistical techniques and data visualization tools to analyze large datasets, uncover trends, patterns, and correlations.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and hypothesis testing to address specific business questions or challenges.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and visualization.
  • Synthesize raw data into actionable insights to drive business results and report findings in a simple, compelling manner.
  • Design and maintain data systems and databases, fixing coding errors and other data-related issues.

Skills and Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools like SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods and techniques, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and machine learning.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.

Salary Range & Benefits

Pay Transparency:

Compensation for this role, for candidates based in Mountain View, CA, is expected to be between $145,000 and $160,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience and how it compares to other employees in the role.
