Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a vision for core data systems, such as Figma’s data catalog, to enable stakeholders to efficiently leverage data at scale for business and product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in engineering, data science, research, and product to design infrastructure for training, deploying, and serving AI/ML models at scale.
  • Work with engineering to set strategy and priorities for teams and projects.

Qualifications

We're eager to connect with you if you have:

  • 4+ years in a technical product management role.
  • Experience in driving product development for developer tools, workflows, and/or infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Track record of implementing the entire lifecycle of ML model development and deployment.
  • Experience in two or more of the following areas:
    • Data warehousing/lakehousing (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Iceberg)
    • Data job orchestration (e.g., Dagster, Airflow)
    • Batch and stream processing systems (e.g., Kafka, Spark, Flink)
    • Data cataloging, discoverability, and lifecycle management
    • Data science models, integrations, or data pipeline development (DBT, Fivetran, AirByte)

Preferred but not required:

  • Ability to bring a product-centric and user-focused approach to platform-driven projects.
  • Capability to explain complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • Engineering background.
  • Experience with models that support generative AI use cases and/or LLMs.
