Exciting Opportunity: QA Test Engineer

As a QA Test Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our Product, Engineering, and other stakeholder teams to identify and report issues, recommend solutions, and ensure our products' overall quality and performance. Your expertise in test automation will be crucial in developing and maintaining automated test suites to ensure ongoing quality and performance. Additionally, you will develop and maintain test cases and documentation to ensure accurate and thorough testing coverage.

Considering that most of our team is based in the Netherlands, we are only considering candidates for this position who live within commuting distance of our Amsterdam office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our engineering and product teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Design and increase automated testing coverage to keep product development efforts scalable and ensure a fast time to market
  • Develop and maintain manual test case coverage and documentation
  • Report and track issues found during testing, ensuring timely resolution in close cooperation with engineering
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for software quality assurance
  • Mentor and train junior members of our QA team
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and quality assurance

Requirements:

What you bring to the table:

  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress and their integration with CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions or GitLab
  • Knowledge of different testing types and best testing practices
  • Experience with Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization
  • More than 3 years of experience in QA testing or related fields
  • Excellent English communication skills

Our Current Tech Stack:

We are fully cloud-native, primarily utilizing AWS services. Our development approach is Lean and API-first, leveraging cloud technologies and design practices. Our web front-end applications are developed in Angular, and our platform technologies, both microservice and AI, are developed in Python and deployed as AWS Lambda functions. We also have a growing expertise in knowledge graphs (Neo4j / Memgraph) and database technologies (SQL - AWS RDS, NoSQL – AWS DynamoDB, etc.). In addition, we develop human-in-the-loop Machine Learning for Healthcare in-house, leveraging LLMs and other NLP techniques.

About Us:

myTomorrows aims to break barriers for eligible patients seeking information about clinical trials and support referrals to trial sites. When patients are not eligible for clinical studies, we help them and their physicians navigate the complexities of expanded access programs.

We
