Reference Data Product Operations Lead

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an experienced Reference Data Product Operations Lead to manage our L1 support team, oversee production support, and facilitate operations and governance forums across various reference data product lines. This role requires close collaboration with technology, product owners, and business teams to effectively manage production break/fix support and communication. Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, standardize, and maintain operations & support models for RDPS products including Enterprise Product and Service (EPS) taxonomy, Reference Data Hosting Platform (RDHP), & ESG Data Central.
  • Provide L1 support, handle L2 – L3 escalations, and act as a user-to-tech liaison.
  • Coordinate user testing, secure sign-offs, and manage deployment communication.
  • Own and conduct annual certification processes such as validating data ownership and entitlements.
  • Facilitate EPS stakeholder forums to manage product strategy decisions and hierarchy maintenance.
  • Lead weekly meetings, issue tracking, remediation activities, and root cause analysis reviews with technology and business partners.
  • Maintain reference data product user guides, operational model documentation, and SNOW entitlements.
  • Oversee daily operational activities of the EPS taxonomy to ensure proper governance and execution of hierarchy maintenance and product mapping decisions.
  • Manage project intake process and other PO administration functions as defined.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a financial services organization, with exposure to financial master/reference data management being a plus.
  • Experience in product support, operations management, and metrics gathering/reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and work well in a team.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and presentation software (Excel, PowerPoint, PivotTables, V-lookup, MS Visio).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience independently leading and completing initiatives while managing risks/issues.
  • Prior experience in team leadership.
  • Technical background with an understanding and/or hands-on experience in agile software product development.
  • Strong experience as a business Product Owner.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
