Role Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Reporting & Data Analyst to join the Housing Division at Seniors, Community and Social Services (SCSS). In this role, you’ll lead data analysis and reporting initiatives, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our data systems. You'll analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and policy development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead data analysis to extract trends from large datasets related to our programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address data requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Oversee data collection, validation, and cleansing for accuracy and integrity.
  • Create and maintain data models, databases, and dashboards for data visualization and reporting.
  • Guide and supervise junior data analysts to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Implement data quality assurance measures and compliance protocols.
  • Communicate data findings and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and technologies in data analysis and reporting.
  • Support strategic initiatives and performance metrics within SCSS.
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Team to enhance decision-making and outcomes.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions on data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on data analysis within the ministry.
