Role Overview

The successful candidate will become a pivotal member of our highly visible Firmwide Risk Identification (Risk ID) team. Your primary role will be to develop statistical and automation capabilities to support the management of the firm’s Material Risk Inventory (MRI), facilitate senior management risk reviews, and enhance linkages with other processes within the firm.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop automated solutions (e.g., targeted reporting, diagnostics) to maintain the quality and integrity of MRI data and quarterly processes.
  • Identify and develop strategic statistical tools to provide a forward-looking assessment of the firm’s risk profile.
  • Conduct data analysis using the MRI and other data sources to distill high-level themes.
  • Create clear, audience-appropriate written communications and reports.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, quantitative economics, computer science).
  • Core proficiency in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Machine Learning (ML) capabilities; additional expertise in traditional econometrics or statistics is highly preferred.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a problem-solving mindset, particularly the ability to align business objectives with the required technical approaches.
  • Expertise in relevant languages (e.g., Python) and accompanying toolsets (e.g., Open-source models and repositories).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional expertise in traditional econometrics or statistics.
