What You Will Be Doing

As a Senior Analytics Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Architecting and managing production data models in Snowflake and ensuring their effective consumption in Sigma. This includes writing documentation and generating data tests. (Tech stack: Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake, Sigma, Hightouch, Metaplane).
  • Empowering team members by providing them with the necessary data to support business operations.
  • Building and maintaining corporate reporting assets across various GTM/Operations domains (e.g., Finance, Customer Success).
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and users of all skill levels to achieve the above objectives.

Qualifications We Need

  • Strong knowledge of data modeling and warehouse optimizations (bonus points for any publicly available repos or projects).
  • Meticulous attention to detail for maintaining production data models.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple stakeholders across the company.
  • A builder mindset with a desire to document, template, automate, and define scalable processes.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and deliver results efficiently.
  • Experience in building reports and managing stakeholder relationships, particularly in Marketing, Finance, or Sales.
  • Visualization experience (Sigma preferred)—Sigma will be used daily!
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a data role.

Qualifications We Want (Skills You’ll Learn)

  • A drive to continuously learn and share insights about the evolving data ecosystem.
  • Advanced knowledge of dbt, Python, and SQL (bonus points for Snowflake expertise).
  • Startup experience.
  • Experience in training and enabling internal teams on best practices within BI tools.

Additional Job Details

The base salary range for this position is $140k - $165k annually. Compensation may vary outside this range based on various factors, including qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package compensating and recognizing employees for their work at Sigma Computing. This role is eligible for stock options and a comprehensive benefits package.
