About the Generative AI Innovation Center at AWS

The GenAIIC is dedicated to helping AWS customers implement Generative AI solutions to unlock transformational business opportunities. Our team consists of strategists, data scientists, engineers, and solution architects. We collaborate closely with customers to build bespoke solutions powered by generative AI, providing guidance on best practices to apply AI responsibly and cost-effectively.

Role and Responsibilities

As part of the GenAIIC team, you will:

• Work directly with customers to innovate in a fast-paced organization.
• Design and run experiments, research new algorithms, and optimize risk, profitability, and customer experience.
• Customize GenAI models through fine-tuning and continued pre-training to build unique solutions for customers using their data.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building machine learning models for business applications
• PhD, or Master’s degree with 6+ years of applied research experience
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, TensorFlow, numpy, and scipy
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems like Hadoop and Spark
