Job Description

The Senior Data Analyst will report to Experian Marketing Services Analytics team. The Analytics team builds and maintains many of Experian Marketing Services' data products. The team also interacts directly with clients to provide solutions tailored to client specifications. Moreover, our team works on innovation efforts to support both generic products and insights which may be customized to match client specific strategies. We seek a top analytical mind to join our team to help us build the next wave of innovative products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply model development, advanced data mining techniques, business intelligence and time-series trend analysis to create products or solutions.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to validate data integrity and determine appropriate analytical attributes.
  • Collaborate with Analytic Consulting to provide analysis that can be presented to clients based on specified requirements.
  • Interpret analysis results, identify trends and problems, and suggest alternatives to support business objectives.
  • Develop new procedures for project development, including creating technical specifications, checklists, and standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in the evolution of process improvements for analytical procedures.
  • Attend and actively participate in Analytic Meetings and Team Information Exchanges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (accounting, stats, math, business, or another Statistics-related field)
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical data analysis experience, particularly using cloud computing services such as AWS, Snowflake etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Python and SQL is required.
  • Knowledge of SAS, R, Spark, PySpark, Alteryx or SPSS is a plus but not essential.
  • Demonstrated experience with SQL, relational, and non-relational databases, particularly when processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience with business intelligence or reporting tools (Tableau preferred)
  • Understanding of statistical methods, model development, problem-solving, and analytical skills is necessary.
  • Familiarity with machine learning tools and concepts (e.g., Numpy, Pandas, Scikit, Feature Engineering) is desirable
  • Must be experienced PC user with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
