About The Role: Senior Data Analyst

The Coinbase Customer Experience (CX) organization is crucial in our mission's success. We eliminate compliance challenges, empower customer experience through self-service and automation, and optimize support interactions to ensure a seamless customer journey. As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll drive projects that create significant business impact, transforming data into valuable insights and shaping our strategy for maximum customer impact.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Enhance customer experiences using metrics, self-service tools, and deep analyses.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on a long-term analytic roadmap that balances business needs.
• Identify impactful improvement areas through deep dive investigations and process optimizations.
• Lead the vision, development, and scaling of self-service analytic capabilities.
• Utilize data resources effectively to address project needs.
• Break down complex business problems and recommend practical solutions.
• Monitor key performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative team environment that drives innovation and continuous improvement.
• Support analytical technologies that provide timely, flexible, and structured data access.

What We Look for in You:

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling skills; Python experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, QuickSight, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience communicating with senior leadership.
• Highly collaborative and adept at securing inputs from cross-functional teams.
• Ability to think strategically and execute analytical solutions to solve business needs.

Nice to Haves:

• Report automation experience (e.g., using Python, R).
• Knowledge of AWS services and cloud computing.
• Experience with descriptive and inferential statistics.
• Financial industry regulations experience.
• Experience with customer support metrics/data.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer competitive compensation, including target bonuses, target equity, and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)). The target annual salary for this position ranges from $162,350 to $191,000 USD, depending on your work location.
