You may not know the Incognia (yet!) but we are most likely protecting you against fraud and account theft in apps. We are a Brazilian privacy-by-design mobile identity by location company, founded in 2014, which provides a frictionless authentication solution for the financial sector, delivery, and e-commerce, increasing security, revenue, and reducing fraud costs.

But how does Incognia's technology work? As we are present in apps, we collect sensor signals and device data to recognize trustworthy users based on their unique location pattern, enabling . We operate anonymously, following good privacy practices, compliant with the LGPD and other regulations. Thus, companies with mobile apps use Incognia to frictionlessly verify user identity when creating new accounts, authenticate their login, detect and assess fraud risks in risky transactions, while protecting their privacy, maintaining an optimized experience throughout the app journey.

We are currently headquartered in Palo Alto, California (USA), and have teams in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York, and also in Brazil, with bases in São Paulo and Recife. Our technology is present in more than 200 million mobile devices, which compose a powerful network effect and deliver ultra-accurate risk assessments with very low false-positive rates to customers in more than 20 countries. The team:

The Data Analytics team is responsible for carrying out the analyses that show the value of Incognia's solution for the client, largely using SQL, spark/scala, and visualization tools, participating in the solution's hiring process, customer follow-up, and performance analysis construction that provides insights for business decision making. The team works closely with the sales, CS, marketing, and other technical teams in the company.

The opportunity:

The person who becomes part of the team will be responsible for carrying out analyses of our client's data, with the intention of improving the product and expanding Incognia's offering. They will have a lot of contact with the business and technical teams and will handle large volumes of data, carry out analyses, construct reports and dashboards, which will help generate revenue in an intelligent and assertive manner for Incognia. In addition, the senior data analyst will help the team to improve and enhance internal processes.

Responsibilities

• Extract, manipulate and analyze complex data;

• Conduct exploratory and statistical analyses to discover patterns, trends, and relevant insights;

• Generate insights and construct clear and concise reports through data, understanding our customers' characteristics, assertively communicating the results of the analyses;

• Inform, interact and relate with the company's business areas to supply them with information and provide effective solutions;

• Participate in meetings with internal and external clients;

• Identify opportunities for internal process improvement and suggest alternatives for optimizing results.
  

Job requirements

• A completed degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Actuarial Science, or other similar areas;

• Advanced or fluent English - will have constant contact with the US team;

• Experience with SQL;

• Experience with the construction of analytical reports;

• Experience and contact with other stakeholders - sales area, data engineering, among others;

• Experience with spark/scala will be considered a plus;

• Knowledge in the fraud, risk or security market will also be considered a plus;

• Salary from R$ 12,778.40 to R$ 15,357.71 under a CLT contract;
